Peacock Transforms The Gutter LES into a ’90s Ted-Themed House Party Ahead of Season 2

Peacock and Fuzzy Door Bring Ted’s Senior-Year Rager to New York

Peacock is celebrating the return of Ted with a one-weekend-only takeover of The Gutter in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Tied to the launch of Ted Season 2 on Peacock, the “Mind in the Gutter Party” promises a full ’90s throwback—and the whole city is invited.

Season 2 of the Seth MacFarlane-created sitcom arrives on Peacock on March 5. To mark the premiere, the Gutter LES will be transformed into a Ted-themed house party on March 6 and 7, complete with era-appropriate décor, activities inspired by the show, and exclusive season content.

What to expect inside the “Mind in the Gutter Party”

Organizers promise an immersive, nostalgia-forward experience designed to echo John and Ted’s high school heyday:

  • A full ’90s aesthetic across the bar and bowling alley, with set dressing and easter eggs tied to the Bennett family
  • Ted-themed bowling lanes and classic arcade or bar games
  • Exclusive clips from Ted Season 2 screened for attendees
  • Surprise activations, photo opportunities, and other in-person delights that nod to the show’s humor and tone

The activation leans into the series’ irreverent spirit while delivering a physical space where fans can relive the era that shaped John and Ted’s misadventures.

Who’s producing the party

The event is a collaboration between Peacock and Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door Productions, with production support from NVE Experience Agency. NVE previously worked on the Ted series premiere in 2024 and has produced experiential campaigns for other high-profile series, including Peacemaker Season 2 and Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie.

What Season 2 of Ted will cover

Ted Season 2 picks up as John Bennett (Max Burkholder) and his foul-mouthed, sentient teddy bear Ted (voice of Seth MacFarlane) approach the end of their high school years. With graduation looming, the pair are determined to squeeze as much mischief and late-adolescent chaos into their remaining time together as possible—expect more bad decisions, more partying, and new hobbies (Dungeons & Dragons gets a mention among the duo’s pursuits).

The rest of the Bennett household continues to play a central role: John’s blue-collar father Matty is portrayed by Scott Grimes, his caring mother Susan by Alanna Ubach, and outspoken cousin Blaire by Giorgia Whigham. Season 2 consists of eight episodes, all of which will stream on Peacock beginning March 5.

How to make the most of the weekend

  • Arrive early for the free access windows to avoid long lines and secure entry.
  • Bring a government-issued ID if you expect to stay past 7:00 p.m. (21+ only for later hours).
  • Expect exclusive clips and installations—plan time to explore the space and take photos.

With the series’ return and a weekend-long, fully themed experience, fans have a rare chance to step into the world of Ted and John before the new season lands on Peacock.
